Ich habe mich so über Jans Herz gefreut, dass ich ein mein Mosaik damit machen mußte. Nun hat es endlich auch seinen Platz bei mir gefunden. Ich hoffe, dass es so, so lange bewundert werden kann, wie die Stickerei darüber.
I was so happy about Jan's heart, that I had to make up my mosaic with it. Now it has finally found his place in my appartment. I hope that this way it can be admired, as long as the embroidery hanging above it.
Ich möchte mich ganz herzlich bei Mary bedanken, dass sie sich die Mühe des Monday Mosaics macht und uns daran teilhaben läßt.

What a beautiful sampler. Did you stitch it yourself? I have a couple that I have made in years past, but yours looks really old.

Leider nicht Cindy, Sticken ist so das Einzige, was ich wohl nicht kann. Dieser Sampler wurde von einer Ur-, Urgroßmutter oder -tante von mir gestickt und ist über 158 Jahre alt
Unfortunately, not Cindy, embroidery is the only thing I can not very well. This sampler was stitched by a great-great-grandmother or aunt of mine and is over 158 years old.
Such a beautiful example of embroidery. The heart is very pretty, too.
